- What is eShop Builder?
eShop Builder is a feature- rich eCommerce platform built in with content management system (CMS) capabilities that provides online merchants with complete control over the look, content and functionality of their eCommerce store.
- How does the service work?
Through SingTel eShop Builder, your company is empowered with more advanced web creation tools that allow just anyone to perform the following:
- Create, edit or delete website content using your web browser
- Manage site visitors, contributors, publishers and their privileges
- Upload documents, images, movies and other media
- Create, edit or delete site pages and alter site structure
- Manage and add new secure site sections
- Build online forms and manage submitted data
- Optimize site for search results and online marketing outcomes.

- What is the minimum system requirement to enjoy eShop Builder?
eShop Builder is compatible with Internet Explorer 6 or higher.
- Can I write my own HTML?
Yes, definitely. If you're comfortable with writing HTML, you can use turn on the HTML option available on the Rich-Text-Editor Tool.
- Does my customer need to register as a member before purchasing?
Yes, your customer needs to register as a member first before making any purchase on your eShop.
- What Payment Gateways are compatible with eShop Builder?
eShop Builder is integrated with three (3) major payment gateway options. The options are eNets for local transactions and PayPal and RBS WorldPay for international transactions. eShop builder also offers offline payments that include cheque/money order and bank transfer.
- How many products can I upload?
eShop builder allows you to create 5 main product categories and upload up to 100 product listings.
- Does eShop Builder allow me to input product attributes?
Yes. eShop Builder allows you to add product attributes such as colour, sizes, weight, etc. You are limited to 20 product attributes per product.
- What type of reports does eShop Builder provide?
eShop Builder provides transaction reports with a define time period for you. Status reports that can be generated includes:
(a) Items in the cart
(b) Check out items
(c) Payment received
(d) Processing payment
(e) Delivery Report
(f) Completed Transaction
(g) Cancelled Transaction
- What if the transacted amount does not tally with the payment gateway of choice?
For any transaction related issue, please check with your selected payment gateway provider. SingTel will not be able to advise on any issue relating to your transactions.

- How do I sign and take up for this service?
You need to subscribe to SingNet corporate access service, e.g. SingNet Business Broadband Access Dynamic in order to subscribe to our eShop Builder service. Before signing up for the Web Hosting service, you will need your company domain name. If you do not have a domain name, click http://boronia.singnet.com.sg/domain to purchase.
To sign up for eShop Builder, customers can simply:
- Go to www.mybusiness.singtel.com or
- Walk in to our Hello! Shops located at Comcentre or
- Contact your Account Manager
- Can I sign up for eShop Builder when I have Web Builder?
Yes. However, you will need to provide another domain name for your eShop Builder. A domain name cannot co-exist in the different solution.
- What is the minimum contractual period for the service?
The minimum contract period for eShop Builder will be tied to a minimum contractual period of 12 months
- Is there a trial for this eShop Builder?
No. There is no trial for this service.
- Is there a penalty charge if I/we terminate this service during or before the contractual period end?
Yes, should customer terminates the service before the expiry of the minimum contractual period, a termination fee of 100% of the monthly charges for the remainder months of the Service shall be chargeable to Customer
eShop Builder - Usage Plan
- What happens if customer terminates the eShop Builder service before the contractual period ends?To terminate the service, customer will need to inform us at least 30 days in advance. An early termination fee will be imposed and is calculated based on the number of remaining months of the contract period multiplied by the subscription rate that customer is paying for eShop Builder. Customer would need to retrieve and backup all the current data from eShop Builder before requesting for termination. The data will be removed on the termination date.
- What happens if customer relocates his/her current office premise?
If customer relocates to another office premise, the service remains active. Please login to the eShop Builder https://marketplace.singtel.com/ to update the details of the new premise.
- What happens if customer transfers his company ownership to another company?
Transfer of ownership is not applicable. All existing accounts will be ceased, therefore, the customer would need to retrieve and backup all the current content from the myBusiness account before the termination date.
Technical and Service Support
- How to start using eShop Builder?
Upon signing for eShop Builder, our partner, CommonTown Pte Ltd will provide a one-time web builder training session at SingTel SLC located at 8 George Street, SingTel Learning Centre (next to OCBC Building). To start using the eShop Builder, login via www.mybusiness.singtel.com and launch the eShop Builder.
- How frequent does the eShop Builder performs data file backups?
The system does data backup regularly and the backup will not affect system performance:
(a) Daily backup – Data shall be backed up daily and stored on a backup server. Customers will be able to restore their data daily. In the event of ‘accidental termination’, customers would be able to retrieve their data as of the last backup, i.e. the backup on the day before.
(b)Monthly backup – At the end of each month, the data on the backup server shall be archived to external storage and stored away off-site for a period of 1 year.
- Who should I contact when I encounter problems on my eShop Builder?
